The brief for the Medical centre, the actual structure of which was situated to the rear of the site, called for the addition of a number of new offices and admin facilities to the front of the complex.

the design entailed the creation of  four conceptual bays along the frontage, all containing individual office components which would create the appearance of a fine grain facade, thus responding to the street edge along which the site is situated. the building mass was ‘fragmented’ into these four bays and also allowed the building to step down the site in conjunction with the levels.
